Steve Altan is a Creative Director and Senior Design leader with over 25 years of experience shaping apparel, branding, and graphic design for some of the world’s most recognizable names in fashion, sports, and entertainment. His career has been built on blending strategic vision with trend-driven creativity—developing collections and collaborations that resonate globally.
Currently, Steve serves as Creative Director at Outerstuff LLC, where he leads design strategy for major sports and entertainment brands including the NBA, NFL, MLB, NCAA, NHL, MLS, Team USA, FIFA, McLaren F1, Mitchell and Ness and more. Steve oversees specialty collections with a team of 7 designers for international markets and high-profile collaborations—such as Space Jam: A New Legacy, Team USA x Looney Tunes, and Carmelo Anthony x Umbro—bridging brand identity with cultural relevance.
Previously, he worked with Icer Brands and Mass Creative, where he partnered with icons including Jaden Smith, Nicki Minaj, Carmelo Anthony, Allan Houston and Penny Hardaway. He has contributed to brands like Apple Bottoms, Ecko Red, Sean John, Levi’s, and Fly Society.
Beyond apparel, Steve’s design work spans marketing campaigns, packaging, digital media, and brand development—always focused on delivering designs that connect with audiences and drive growth.
Fluent in conversational Armenian and Turkish, with a background in Fine Arts and Graphic Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology, he continues to collaborate with global partners, artists, and innovators to create designs that inspire.
